Solid Ground Child Care at Caprock Academy
About Us
We offer Before and After School care at Caprock Academy Monday- Thursday.
Full Day care from 6:15-6:00pm will be offered on Friday's when Caprock is not in session. We are a Colorado Licensed Child Care Facility and abide by all the laws and ordinancy that fall under our licence.
Each day will include a set aside time for school work, outside activities, snack, and inside projects. Every piece of this daily puzzle will be carried out with the students potential at heart. While proceeding through these various actions, all students, and staff will be held accountable for the constant respect of others, and the property around them. These activities will help encourage students to better themselves each day.

Our Afternoon Schedule
3:00-3:10 Check in and get settled
3:10-3:40- Recess- This will be filled with individual play time as well as group games
3:40-4:00- Snack
4:00-4:30,4:45- Homework Time/ Reading Time
4:45-5:45- Planned Centers ( these include things such as: art, science, literature projects, math, drama, etc.)
5:45-6:00- Free time and clean up.
This is the roundabout schedule that will be followed. You are welcome to pick up your child at any point in our day. We do encourage parents to help their child finish something if they are in the middle of it when they come.
